Digital Media Delivery
Digital Media Delivery
Digital media delivery is in demand in society as technology to support information and media streaming become readily available. The demand for technology over the last few decades has evolved from large stationary products to solutions that stitch together functionality and end-to-end experience on a mobile platform (De Bonte, 2014). Augmented Reality (AR) is a technology that adds virtual objects and overlays to the physical world and injects digital information into real life (Keneman & Waller, 2016). These virtual objects can range from GPS information overlaid on a building to a virtual teacher instructing a class in your living room. The evolving need to stream and view information and media is growing in the industry, and AR is an upcoming technology that can satisfy that need.
